about

Grimm, a new studio album from composer Graham Reynolds, is an original score for Ballet Austin's "Grimm Tales" that premiered with a 25 person live ensemble in early 2019 at The Long Center. Synthesizers, drum loops and samples merge with pencil and paper acoustic music to create a hybrid of the orchestra and the computer, a bit unlike anything Graham has done before. These familiar childhood stories are turned into a sonic reflection of what happens when naiveté meets wickedness, and the balance between good and evil is in question.

All proceeds from the sale of this album through July 2020 will be donated to the Black Lives Matter organization.
